Sadness

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you all that my dad has passed away.

He battled cancer valiantly but our father called him home at 12:30 am on Saturday June 20th, 2009.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in Regina.(See www.leaderpost.com for details)

The hardest part of all of this was that I did not make it home to say goodbye.

I love my dad even though sometimes we argued he was still my dad and I know that he loved me. I am thankful for the time I got to spend with him in April & May. We had a good time.

Dad I promise to teach your grandson's your love of fishing and spending time in the outdoors and camping. I promise to look after mom the best I can. 

Enjoy your time now fishing with Uncle Al and try not to fight with Grandma too much.
