Update
Well we have been away for a few weeks but there has been a lot happening in that time.
While we were away we visited many friends and family and went to a wedding but the most special for me was visiting a friend that used to live in Yellowknife. Her name is Brandi and she has 3 adorable little girls that just keep growing up on me. I wish I could take a picture and keep them all little. She came to Edmonton to see us from Sylvan Lake and we spent the day at the West Ed Water Park. We had a blast and the kids got so tuckered out.
After the Waterpark we met up with Eric's brother Troy who had come to town from Ottawa with his girlfriend Lavona. Her parents live just south of Edmonton in Devon. We had dinner and a good time. The next day we went to Devon and spent the afternoon there. We had fun and the kids played and Troy made us dinner.
Then we left Edmonton for the long drawn out trip home that took a little longer this time because we got a boat. It isn't a big boat it isn't a fancy boat but it will pull a couple of kids on a tube and take us out on prelude to catch some dinner. I look forward to a summer on the lake.
Then we get home and the kids start crying in the car as we drive into the city that they want to see Auntie. Well is is 9:30 and Eric and I are exhausted so I promised we would see them the next day. Well I got up bright and early and started cleaning house and end up going out to our church to help set up for our grand opening (more in a minute). I come home and Noah and Luke are playing hard and Peggy has taken Nolan to go get Mykayla from dance. Peggy comes back and tells me that they got an offer on there house. She was so excited I thought she was going to jump up and down. God is so awesome and special. He takes care of us and it just hits you to watch him work. Peggy has been stressing about this for weeks. I am so releaved to see her happy. I will dearly miss her as I have expressed in a previous post. She is my best friend and our kids have grown up together so it will be hard saying good bye no it won't be good bye it will be see you soon.
Finally the new church
We have been working towards this day for almost 3 years and it was a wonderful weekend. It started with a barbecue on Saturday evening and then we had a wonderful dedication ceremony with MLA's from the city and the first pastor came back. It was a beatiful service filled with many gifts and many special words.
Well that is our last 2 weeks. Hope yours was as fun.
